Computer Aided Design Designer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Jewellery CAD Designer to design high-quality diamond and fine jewellery. The candidate should be skilled in CAD software and capable of translating concepts, sketches, and client ideas into precise 3D designs ready for manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

Create accurate 3D CAD models for rings, earrings, pendants, bangles, and bracelets

Develop designs based on concept briefs, references, or hand sketches

Ensure designs are manufacturing-friendly, considering stone setting, casting, and metal weight

Modify and refine designs based on client or internal feedback

Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth execution

Prepare STL/3DM files for prototyping and production

Maintain organized design files and version control

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in Rhino, Matrix, MatrixGold, or similar jewellery CAD software

Strong understanding of diamond settings, gemstone placement, and jewellery construction

Excellent attention to detail and proportions

Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects

Strong visualization and creative skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma or certification in Jewellery Design / CAD Designing

Experience with fine diamond jewellery

Knowledge of international jewellery standards is a plus
