Component Engineering Skills and Competence:
- 6 to 8 years Hands-on Experience on Component Engineering
- Bachelor Degree with in Electronics or Electrical/Electronics
- Strong Technical Knowledge on Electronic Components (Specifically entire Discrete and Passive Category) Basic and working Principle, Packages, Suppliers, compliance and Regulatory, etc.
- Hands-on experience on all major Component Manufacturer on Discrete and Passives. Experience on Tier3 (China based) Suppliers is a plus
- Hands-on Automotive standard and regulatory knowledge on Electronic Components Complete understanding of AECQ and IATF
- Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) Worked experience on reading and reviewing Supplier PPAP Documents in accordance with AECQ requirements
- Review and Assign new Visteon Part Number Taking into considerations on Technical Reviews, Risk Reviews, Compliance and Regulatory reviews, etc.
- Component Lifecycle Management Proactive and reactive methodology
- Review and understand Supplier Change request or PCN/PDNs, assess impact analysis, propose require actions based on type of changes.
- Hands-on Experience On Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Tools like DMS, Agile, Enovia, Teamcenter, etc. The DMS based experience is a plus
