Compliance Officer Capital Markets

We are looking for a Compliance Officer Capital Markets to join our founding team and lead
regulatory and compliance functions for our operations in GIFT City. This role will be responsible for
ensuring compliance with the regulatory framework governing capital markets activities in GIFT
City, particularly under the International Financial Services Centres Authority. You will play a key
role in establishing strong compliance systems and regulatory processes as Vyn builds a global
platform for international investing.
This role is based in GIFT City, Ahmedabad India's fast-growing international financial hub. We are building for the world from India's most promising global fintech destination.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the designated Compliance Officer for Vyn's regulated entities in GIFT City and/or other jurisdictions.
Ensure compliance with regulations issued by the International Financial Services Centres Authority and other applicable regulatory bodies.
Establish and maintain compliance frameworks for capital markets activities, including:
Broker Dealer
Investment Adviser
Investment Banker
Research Entity
Distributor registrations
Oversee regulatory filings, approvals, and ongoing compliance requirements for these registrations.
Develop and implement internal compliance policies, procedures, and control frameworks.
Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation of new compliance requirements.
Work closely with legal, operations, and leadership teams to ensure regulatory alignment across the organization.
Handle regulatory communication, reporting, and audits.
Maintain compliance records, registers, and internal documentation as required by regulations.
Support the launch of new financial products and services by ensuring regulatory readiness.
Act as a trusted compliance partner to founders and leadership.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Compliance Officer or in a securities marketrelated compliance role.
Experience dealing with regulatory frameworks in capital markets, financial services, or fintech environments.
Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to securities markets and financial intermediaries.
Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
Strong analytical, documentation, and regulatory interpretation skills.
High integrity and strong attention to detail.
Educational Qualification
A professional qualification or a postgraduate degree/diploma (minimum one year duration) in
finance, law, accountancy, business management, commerce, economics, capital markets, banking,
insurance, actuarial science, fintech, science, technology, engineering, or mathematics from a
recognised university or institution. Alternatively, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a university or institution recognised by the Central or State Government, or a recognised foreign university, will
also qualify.
