Job Description – Compliance Officer

Location: GIFT City, Gandhinagar

Experience: 4–5 Years

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Officer for a financial services platform engaged in advisory services, debt financing, and equity research for corporates and private equity firms. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to KYC/AML compliance, fund accounting, regulatory reporting, and operational controls within financial services or investment management environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end KYC/AML onboarding and periodic review processes for clients and investors.
  • Ensure compliance with IFSCA, FEMA, AML, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor transactions and maintain records related to compliance and risk management activities.
  • Handle fund accounting activities including NAV review, reconciliation, reporting, and coordination with fund administrators.
  • Prepare and maintain compliance MIS, regulatory filings, and audit documentation.
  • Coordinate with auditors, bankers, legal advisors, custodians, and other stakeholders.
  • Support investor onboarding, documentation, and compliance due diligence processes.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, governance standards, and operational controls.
  • Assist management with compliance reporting, risk assessment, and process improvements.
  • Requirements

    • 4–5 years of experience in Compliance, Fund Accounting, AML/KYC, or Fund Operations.
    • Strong understanding of AML/KYC regulations, FEMA, and financial services compliance frameworks.
    • Experience in fund accounting, reconciliations, NAV review, and financial reporting.
    • Exposure to AIF, PMS, NBFC, Wealth Management, or Investment Advisory setups will be preferred.
    • Good analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and regulated environment.
    • CA / MBA Finance / CFA / CS or equivalent qualification preferred.

    Preferred Skills

    • Strong communication and coordination abilities.
    • Attention to detail with a risk and compliance mindset.
    • Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
    • Experience working with GIFT City or offshore fund structures will be an added advantage.
