Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Compliance Officer located in Ambala. The Compliance Officer will ensure the organization adheres to all regulatory and legal requirements, as well as internal policies. Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring compliance programs, preparing and submitting regulatory reports, conducting compliance audits, and advising stakeholders on compliance risks. Additionally, the individual will work cross-functionally to develop and implement strategies to mitigate compliance vulnerabilities.

Qualifications

  • Regulatory compliance and governance expertise, including familiarity with local laws and industry standards
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in conducting audits and preparing compliance documentation
  • Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving, and risk assessment capabilities
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex compliance matters clearly
  • Proven ability to develop and implement compliance policies and programs
  • Proficiency in legal and regulatory research, and prior experience in the renewable energy or related sectors is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field; legal compliance certification is advantageous
