Job Description

A power-sector company with a growing renewables portfolio now has solar and wind assets in several states, and each one carries its own set of licences, consents and filings. It is hiring a Compliance Officer through Flexiple to make sure none of them lapses and that the company is ready when a regulator or lender asks for proof.

You would maintain the compliance calendar for every plant, covering CERC and state-commission requirements, environmental clearances, pollution-board consents, labour-law registrations and safety audits, and chase the site teams for documents before each due date. You would review PPAs and grid-connection agreements for regulatory obligations, prepare compliance certificates for lenders, and brief the leadership on upcoming regulatory changes in renewables. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams in India.

Location: Remote (India)

  • 4 to 8 years in compliance, legal or regulatory work in the power, infrastructure or energy sector
  • Working knowledge of the Electricity Act, open-access rules and renewable purchase obligations
  • Law, engineering or company-secretary background
  • Organised, good at following up with plant managers, and fine with travel to sites

Hiring runs through an HR screen, a technical round on power-sector regulation, a panel with legal and operations, and a final manager conversation. Apply once and Flexiple considers you for this role and for future compliance roles that match your profile.
