Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, review, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and regulatory expectations, assess their impact on business operations, and recommend necessary actions.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and compliance reviews to identify potential gaps, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Provide compliance advice and guidance to business units and management on regulatory and compliance matters.
- Monitor and test compliance controls to evaluate effectiveness and ensure ongoing compliance with internal policies and external requirements.
- Investigate compliance incidents, breaches, complaints, and regulatory issues, and oversee the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports, regulatory filings, and management updates in a timely and accurate manner.
- Coordinate and support internal audits, external audits, regulatory examinations, and inspections.
- Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness programs to promote understanding of compliance obligations and ethical business conduct.
- Maintain accurate compliance records, registers, and documentation, including policy management, incident tracking, and regulatory correspondence.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to strengthen governance, risk management, and compliance practices.
- Support the continuous improvement of the organization's compliance framework and foster a culture of integrity and accountability.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, internal audit, legal, or regulatory affairs.
- Professional compliance certifications are an advantage.
