Job Description

  • Strong understanding of Indian laws and global compliance requirements (e.g., antibribery, anticorruption, whistleblower, sanctions, data privacy).
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing compliance policies, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Review and adapt thirdparty contract clauses based on risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel on compliance issues.
  • Maintain compliance records and prepare periodic reports for global compliance, senior management, and regulators.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessments and evaluate controls in line with enterprise risk frameworks.
  • Stay updated on evolving laws, regulations, and industry trends, and assess their impact on business operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • An LLB degree
  • Experience from a law firm (Tier 1 or Tier 2) or Inhouse experience with a focus on business risk identification, compliance, legal, and regulatory affairs, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Strong communication, analytical and drafting skills.
  • Diligent, able to work independently and be able to manage numerous projects simultaneously.
