Job Description

Strong understanding of Indian laws and global compliance requirements (e.g., antibribery, anticorruption, whistleblower, sanctions, data privacy).
Assist in drafting and reviewing compliance policies, SOPs, and training materials.
Review and adapt thirdparty contract clauses based on risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel on compliance issues.
Maintain compliance records and prepare periodic reports for global compliance, senior management, and regulators.
Conduct periodic risk assessments and evaluate controls in line with enterprise risk frameworks.
Stay updated on evolving laws, regulations, and industry trends, and assess their impact on business operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

An LLB degree
Experience from a law firm (Tier 1 or Tier 2) or Inhouse experience with a focus on business risk identification, compliance, legal, and regulatory affairs, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
Strong communication, analytical and drafting skills.
Diligent, able to work independently and be able to manage numerous projects simultaneously.
