Job Title

Assistant Vice President - Credit Compliance Testing

Objective

To ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines applicable to credit products by conducting comprehensive compliance testing. The role supports the organization's commitment to regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

.Conduct compliance testing of credit-related processes, products, and documentation in line with RBI and other regulatory requirements

.Check compliance to circulars and guidelines issued by RBI and other relevant authorities pertaining to credit risk management.

.Deliver detailed reports with root-cause analysis and actionable recommendations.

.Collaborate with business units to address gaps and ensure timely remediation of compliance issues

.Maintain updated knowledge of regulatory changes impacting credit products and incorporate them into the testing framework

.Assist in quarterly refresh of the testing universe based on new regulatory circulars.

.Drive enhancements in testing processes through automation, analytics, and best practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Banking, or related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in credit risk, compliance, or audit functions within banking/financial services.
• Familiarity with compliance testing methodologies

Key Attributes:

• Strong understanding of credit products (Retail, Corporate, Loans & Advances) and related regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of RBI guidelines, credit risk frameworks, and compliance standards
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to manage complex projects under tight timelines
