The Compliance & MIS Head – Human Resources is responsible for leading and managing HR compliance, statutory governance, HR analytics, and MIS functions for the hospital group. The role ensures adherence to labor laws, regulatory standards, hospital policies, and accurate HR reporting across all units. The position also drives process improvements, HR data management, audit readiness, and strategic HR reporting for leadership decision-making.
HR Compliance Management
- Lead and oversee all HR statutory compliance activities across corporate office and hospital units.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws including PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, CLRA, Shops & Establishment Act, Minimum Wages Act, and other statutory regulations.
- Develop and implement HR compliance frameworks, SOPs, and monitoring mechanisms.
- Ensure timely submission of statutory returns, filings, and documentation.
- Liaise with government authorities, auditors, legal advisors, and compliance consultants.
- Monitor labor law updates and implement changes within the organization.
- Lead internal and external compliance audits and ensure closure of audit observations.
- Ensure proper maintenance of employee records, licenses, registrations, and statutory documentation.
- Mitigate compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
HR MIS & Analytics
- Lead the HR MIS function and ensure accurate, timely, and meaningful HR reporting.
- Design and maintain HR dashboards, analytics reports, and workforce metrics.
- Generate and review reports related to manpower, attrition, recruitment, payroll, attendance, leave, employee productivity, and compliance status.
- Provide strategic HR insights and analytics to senior management for decision-making.
- Ensure integrity, confidentiality, and accuracy of HR data in HRMS/ERP systems.
- Automate HR reporting processes and improve MIS efficiency.
- Coordinate with IT, payroll, finance, and operations teams for HR data integration and validation.
HR Governance & Process Improvement
- Develop HR compliance policies and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor implementation of HR policies across hospital units.
- Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support HR digitization and automation projects.
- Ensure adherence to organizational ethics, confidentiality, and governance standards.
Team Management
- Lead and mentor the HR Compliance & MIS team.
- Allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and support team development.
- Ensure effective coordination with unit HR teams across locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, Law, or related field.
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
- Additional certification in Labor Laws or Compliance Management will be an advantage.
Experience
- 15–18 years of experience in HR Compliance and MIS functions.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in hospital or healthcare industry preferred.
