Compliance Manager
Position Overview
JLL is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee and enhance our compliance framework, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies across our operations. This role is critical to maintaining JLL's reputation for integrity and operational excellence in the commercial real estate services industry.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance Program Management Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies, procedures, and controls aligned with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Monitor regulatory changes affecting JLL's business operations and assess their impact on current practices. Lead periodic compliance risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
Monitoring and Reporting Establish and execute compliance monitoring programs including audits, reviews, and testing of key controls. Prepare regular compliance reports for senior management and relevant stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas requiring attention. Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation to support internal and external audits.
Training and Advisory Design and deliver compliance training programs to educate employees on regulatory requirements, company policies, and ethical business practices. Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance to business units on compliance-related questions and complex regulatory matters. Partner with cross-functional teams to embed compliance considerations into business processes and decision-making.
Investigation and Remediation Lead or support investigations into potential compliance violations or policy breaches. Recommend and implement corrective actions to address identified issues and prevent recurrence. Collaborate with Legal, Risk Management, Human Resources, and other departments to ensure coordinated responses to compliance matters.
Regulatory Liaison Maintain productive relationships with regulatory bodies and industry associations. Coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries and participate in regulatory examinations or audits as needed.
Required Qualifications
Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or related field required; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CCEP, CRCM, CFE) preferred. 6-7 years of progressive experience in compliance, risk management, audit, or related function, preferably within commercial real estate, financial services, or professional services industries.
Technical Knowledge Strong understanding of applicable regulatory frameworks such as anti-money laundering (AML), data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), anti-bribery and corruption laws (FCPA, UK Bribery Act), and employment laws. Familiarity with compliance management systems, risk assessment methodologies, and control frameworks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with compliance software platforms advantageous.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex regulatory concepts to diverse audiences. Project management capabilities with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in commercial real estate services or property management sectors. Track record of successfully implementing compliance programs or initiatives. Experience conducting training sessions and developing educational materials. Knowledge of international compliance requirements for global organizations.
Working Conditions
This position is based at a JLL office location with potential for hybrid work arrangements subject to business needs. Occasional travel may be required to support multi-site compliance activities or attend industry events.
