Purpose of the Role:
As a CI Healthcare Consultant, you will support biopharma clients in optimizing late-stage development and commercial strategies at the global, regional, and local levels. Your expertise will help clients navigate the complexities of market entry, competitive positioning, and launch execution for assets nearing commercialization.
Key Responsibilities
Competitive Intelligence & Commercial Strategy:
- Provide real-time insights into late-stage and marketed products, including regulatory filings, trial readouts, label expansions, and pre/post-launch commercial strategies
- Conduct competitive landscape assessments to monitor key players, emerging therapies, asset prioritization, and market trends
- Develop and refine go-to-market strategies, ensuring market differentiation
Launch Readiness:
- Develop and execute competitive launch readiness strategies, including patient segmentation, advocacy and outreach programs, brand messaging, benefit ladder development, counter-messaging, and sales-force structure
- Identify regulatory and commercial hurdles to help clients proactively address potential launch challenges
Research and Analysis:
- Analyze news sources, databases, and primary intelligence to provide real-time alerts and in-depth reports (FYIs, monthly/quarterly)
- Deliver actionable insights that support both pre-launch planning and launch execution
Team & Client Collaboration:
- Contribute to a high-performing team culture, fostering innovation and excellence
- Engage with clients and work across the US and EU time zones, ensuring seamless communication and strategic alignment
- Attend medical conferences and off-site meetings to strengthen strategic insights and client engagement
Minimum Requirements
- Advanced degree: MBA, M Pharma, PhD
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare consulting or competitive intelligence within the pharmaceutical industry
- Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, in particular drug development, regulatory, and commercialization processes (US and EU)
- Proficiency in CI tools and databases (Citeline, Biomedtracker, ClinicalTrials.gov, IQVIA, etc.).
- Natural curiosity about how things work and interest in developing technical fields such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
