POSITION TITLE

Human Resource Total Rewards Analyst

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Conduct analysis of HR and employee related data to support employee engagement, retention and performance related initiatives, as well as present insights and recommendation for areas of improvement. Working with the Canada leadership team, responsible to administer base pay and incentive compensation programs including: analyzing, reporting, researching and facilitating Compensation processes.

PRIMARY DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Provide critical analysis and evaluation to support the Human Resources Department and employee engagement initiatives
  • Assist with the development and implementation of compensation programs
  • Facilitate annual compensation review and plan for annual pay increases and bonus calculations.
  • Act as primary point of contact for minimum wage and statutory changes across Canadian provinces, including Workday updates.
  • Conduct Supervisor Development Program (SDP) quarterly to review and adjust pay grids for supervisors as part of the reward strategy.
  • Create, perform mail merge, and distribute compensation letters (Promotions, Adjustments, Statutory Changes, Bonus, SDP) accurately and confidentially.
  • Support global job evaluation, job benchmarking, and compensation related initiatives
  • Perform market research and provide recommendations for competitive pay structures in Canada.
  • Conduct internal compensation analysis (Baseline, Rightsizing) and deliver detailed reports to CHRO and Directors for decision-making.
  • Create and maintain compensation grades, profiles, and steps in Workday to ensure accurate employee mapping.
  • Develop and manage compensation and allowance-related reports using Workday Report Writer.
  • Provide support to HR Helpdesk for pay-related issues and resolve compensation tickets promptly.
  • Perform data reconciliation between ADP and Workday to ensure 100% accuracy in compensation structures and figures.
  • Manage EIB and bulk updates in Workday, coordinating with POCs and stakeholders for smooth execution.
  • Maintain and enhance current reporting deliverables while exploring new and innovative ways to report and examine HR data.
  • Assist in the identification of key drivers that will retain and reward employees, drive performance and achieve performance objectives
  • Create PowerPoint presentations as needed, including pulling supporting data from the HRIS systems, managing spreadsheets or creating pivot tables
  • Complete other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Knowledge of HR principles with previous work experience in Human Resources preferred
  • Experience conducting research and forming informational reports and conclusions
  • Familiarity with Human Resources information systems, such as Workday, CCMS or ADP
  • Knowledge of statistical processes and measures
  • Experience generating graphs, tables and other information displays
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency with standard technology including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • CCMS and ADP Systems experience preferred
  • Ability to present ideas in business friendly and user friendly language to varying audiences across the organization
  • Ability to work under pressure and with shifting priorities
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently or in a team
  • Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality
  • Must pass mandatory background checks which may include pre-screenings, illegal drug tests, and credit checks
