Role Description The Compensation Analyst – HR is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The role involves analyzing compensation data, supporting the design and maintenance of compensation structures, and ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness for various roles. The Compensation Analyst will conduct job analysis and job evaluation, prepare compensation reports, and assist in annual salary review and incentive processes in collaboration with HR business partners and leadership. The role also includes monitoring market trends, maintaining compensation-related documentation and systems, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations. The individual will work closely with HR and business teams to provide data-driven insights that support talent attraction, retention, and reward strategies.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform Compensation Planning and Compensation Management using data-driven methodologies.
- Proficiency in Job Analysis and Job Evaluation to support role benchmarking and internal equity.
- Experience in designing and maintaining Compensation Structures aligned with market practices and organizational policies.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, including advanced proficiency in MS Excel and HR analytics tools.
- Knowledge of HR principles, reward and recognition practices, and relevant labor regulations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Prior experience in compensation or HR analytics within manufacturing or large-scale industrial organizations is an advantage.
