Role Overview
The Company Secretary role is focused on supporting the company's secretarial, governance, and compliance functions. The role will involve company law compliance, ROC filings, statutory records, board documentation, and coordination with external compliance professionals.
The person will ensure that secretarial documents are prepared properly, compliance timelines are tracked, filings are completed on time, and statutory records are maintained accurately.
Completion of CS articleship is mandatory for this role. The role is intended for a beginner-level candidate, with a maximum of 1 year of post-article ship or post-qualification experience.
This is a hybrid role and requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with discipline.
Key Responsibilities
1. Draft and maintain company secretarial documents, including board resolutions, notices, minutes, committee documents, and compliance records.
2. Prepare, organize, and coordinate documents required for ROC filings, MCA compliance, annual filings, and event-based filings.
3. Track statutory timelines, filing deadlines, approvals, and compliance requirements.
4. Maintain statutory registers, records, compliance trackers, and supporting documentation.
5. Coordinate with external CS firms, consultants, auditors, and compliance professionals.
6. Support governance, secretarial, and regulatory compliance requirements across company matters.
7. Assist internal teams with compliance documentation, execution support, and information requirements.
8. Ensure proper filing, record-keeping, and documentation control for all secretarial and compliance matters.
Key Requirements
1. Completion of CS article ship is mandatory.

3. Strong understanding of company law, ROC filings, MCA compliance, statutory registers, board documentation, and secretarial records.
