Company Secretary - NBFC
We seek an experienced professional to safeguard our company's adherence to all regulatory and legal standards. This position entails leading internal compliance operations, handling RBI and other authority filings/reports, and bolstering corporate governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guarantee compliance with RBI guidelines for NBFCs, ensuring prompt submission of all mandatory returns and reports.
- Regularly review and refine internal policies/procedures to match evolving regulations.
- Coordinate regulatory audits, inspections, and responses to inquiries from RBI or other bodies.
- Manage & Draft agreements, documentation for board/committee meetings, including agendas, minutes, and resolutions.
- Uphold statutory registers, licenses, and records per the Companies Act and NBFC rules.
- Partner with legal teams on contracts, operations, court visits and governance matters.
- Perform internal compliance audits and risk evaluations to detect and address potential risks.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Company Secretary, holding ICSI membership.
- 3-5 years in corporate secretarial/compliance roles within an NBFC.
- In-depth knowledge of Company Law, SEBI rules, and relevant corporate regulations.
- Superior drafting abilities for crafting reports, minutes, and legal documents.
- Good written/verbal communication to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office for documentation, analysis, and reporting.
