Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Company Secretary (CS) – Corporate Legal & Compliance role based in Jodhpur. The role involves managing statutory and regulatory compliances under the Companies Act and related corporate laws, including preparation, filing, and maintenance of required documents and records. The professional will coordinate and conduct Board, committee, and shareholder meetings, draft agendas and minutes, and support directors with governance requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and maintaining legal documentation such as contracts, resolutions, and policies, and ensuring alignment with applicable laws and internal standards. The role also requires monitoring changes in corporate, commercial, and sector-specific regulations, advising management on compliance impact, managing liaison with regulators, auditors, and external legal counsel, and supporting risk management, internal controls, and corporate secretarial best practices.

Qualifications

  • Company Secretary (CS) qualification from a recognized institute; bachelor's degree in law, commerce, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Companies Act, SEBI regulations (if applicable), corporate governance standards, and relevant commercial and contract laws.
  • Experience in corporate secretarial work, including conducting Board and general meetings, drafting minutes, managing statutory registers, and handling regulatory filings.
  • Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, resolutions, and internal policies with attention to detail and risk awareness.
  • Ability to interpret regulations, design compliance processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as finance, operations, HR, and manufacturing.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with strong documentation, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical judgment, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Prior experience in FMCG, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or Ayurveda/herbal products is an added advantage.
