Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Expert to support project implementation by ensuring compliance with social safeguards and guidelines. The role involves planning, executing, and monitoring social management activities in alignment with ADB (Asian Development Bank) standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop Social Management Plans (SMP) in accordance with project requirements and ADB guidelines
- Oversee the implementation of social safeguard measures across project activities
- Monitor and evaluate social impact mitigation measures and ensure timely reporting
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including government bodies, contractors, and local communities
- Identify social risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting of social compliance activities
- Support audits, inspections, and reviews related to social safeguards
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Social Sciences, Sociology, Development Studies, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of overall experience, with at least 1 year in social work/compliance roles
- Familiarity with ADB safeguard policies and frameworks
- Ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders and communities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
