Role Description The Community Mobilizer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cuttack, responsible for engaging and growing HIREKARMA's community of students, colleges, and employer partners. This role involves planning and executing outreach activities, events, and workshops to raise awareness about HIREKARMA's services and drive participation in campus hiring initiatives. The Community Mobilizer will regularly interact with students, faculty, and placement cells to understand their needs, share relevant opportunities, and ensure a positive experience throughout the recruitment journey. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining strong local relationships, collecting feedback, resolving basic queries, and coordinating with internal teams to support campaigns and placement drives. The role also includes tracking engagement metrics, preparing brief reports, and suggesting improvements to enhance community impact.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Community Engagement and Community Management skills to build, nurture, and sustain active networks among students, institutes, and partners.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to interact confidently with diverse stakeholders and present information clearly.
  • Candidates should possess solid Customer Service experience to handle inquiries, address concerns, and ensure a supportive, solution-oriented community experience.
  • Ability to organize events, workshops, and outreach programs, with basic planning, coordination, and follow-up skills.
  • Comfort working on-site in Cuttack, with flexibility to travel locally for campus visits and community activities when required.
  • Basic proficiency in digital tools (email, spreadsheets, messaging and collaboration platforms); familiarity with social media or online community platforms is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in community outreach, campus engagement, education services, or recruitment support is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Undergraduate degree in any discipline or equivalent practical experience; a strong interest in education, careers, and youth empowerment is highly valued.
