Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Community & Partnership Development

• Build and nurture strategic partnerships with schools, colleges, universities, sports academies, clubs, fitness centers, corporates, resident associations, and local communities.

• Develop a strong network of athletes, coaches, sports enthusiasts, influencers, event organizers, and sports organizations.

• Represent Cosmos Sports at sporting events, educational institutions, corporate engagements, and community forums.

Sports Events & Activations

• Conceptualize and execute sports events, tournaments, workshops, leagues, fitness challenges, outreach programs, and brand activations.

• Create engaging experiences that increase sports participation, strengthen community relationships, and enhance brand visibility.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful event execution.

Customer Acquisition & Business Growth

• Drive customer acquisition initiatives that generate measurable store footfall, customer leads, and business opportunities.

• Own and achieve defined targets related to partnerships, event participation, community growth, customer acquisition, and engagement.

• Identify local market opportunities, emerging sports trends, and community needs to support sustainable business growth.

• Support commercial objectives by converting community engagement initiatives into customer acquisition and sales opportunities.

Community Marketing & Engagement

• Leverage social media, local influencers, sports groups, and digital platforms to build and engage active sports communities.

• Develop localized outreach and engagement strategies that strengthen Cosmos Sports presence across Kerala.

• Maintain and grow a strong database of community partners, sports enthusiasts, institutions, and event participants.

Performance & Analytics

• Track, analyze, and report the effectiveness of events, partnerships, customer acquisition initiatives, and growth campaigns.

• Use customer insights and market intelligence to continuously improve engagement and business outcomes.

Desired Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sports Management, Sports Science, Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.

• Prior work experience in Sports brands like Decathlon, Adidas, Nike, Puma, Sketchers etc.

• 0–2 years of experience in Sports Management, Sports Marketing, Event Management, Community Engagement, Business Development, Partnerships, Customer Acquisition, or related fields.

• Freshers are welcome to apply. Candidates with leadership experience in college sports, university teams, sports clubs, event management committees, NSS, NCC, student councils, or other community-building initiatives will be given strong preference.

• Strong passion for sports and promoting an active lifestyle.

• Active participation in sports at school, college, club, district, state, or national level.

• Excellent communication, presentation, networking, and relationship-building skills.

• Self-driven individual with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to independently create and execute growth opportunities.

• Strong planning, execution, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with ownership of targets and outcomes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.

• Willingness to travel extensively across assigned Territory
