About the Company
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Community Manager Intern to help build and manage Oben Electric's online community across social media and digital platforms. This role will be responsible for engaging with our audience, managing outreach program, and identifying trends.
About The Role
The ideal candidate should be active on social media, have strong communication skills, understand internet culture and trends, and have a genuine interest in motorcycles, electric vehicles, and digital communities.
Responsibilities
Community Management & Engagement
Manage and engage with the Oben community across social media and relevant digital platformsInitiate and participate in relevant conversations to increase community engagement
Community Engagement Growth Initiatives
Support community-building activities including reels, stories, posts, online reviewsIdentify and engage with Oben riders, EV enthusiasts, brand advocates, and potential creatorsSupport initiatives designed to increase participation and engagement within the Oben community
Content & Trend Identification
Stay updated on social media trends, memes, conversations, and emerging content formatsIdentify relevant trends and community conversations that can be leveraged by ObenSupport the content team with ideas based on trending topics and audience conversationsIdentify potential opportunities for user-generated content, creator collaborations, and community-led content
Customer Feedback & Insights
Collect and organize customer feedback from social media and community platformsIdentify frequently asked questions and recurring customer concernsShare actionable community insights with the marketing, sales, product, and customer support teamsTrack customer conversations around products, features, campaigns, and overall brand experience
Reporting & Analytics
Track basic community metrics including engagement, comments, responses, mentions, and sentimentPrepare regular reports on community activity and key observationsMonitor performance of community-led initiatives and identify opportunities for improvementMaintain records of important customer feedback, conversations, and community insights
Qualifications
Education: Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Media, or a related fieldExperience: 0–1 year of experience; freshers are welcome
Required Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skillsActive understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Facebook, and XGood understanding of social media trends, memes, creators, and online communitiesAbility to communicate with customers in a friendly, professional, and brand-appropriate mannerCurious, proactive, and willing to experiment with new ideasPrior experience managing a college community, social media page, online group, or personal content page is a plus
