Job Description:
This is a Community Engagement role focused on driving learner experience, engagement, and retention across global cohorts. The position involves onboarding, relationship management, and community interactions to ensure high program completion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own the Onboarding Experience
- Lead cohort orientations and structured onboarding journeys
- Conduct 1:1 learner introduction to build early rapport and belonging
2. Learner Relationship Management
- Build and nurture strong relationships with learners
- Conduct regular check-ins to understand challenges and provide personalized support
3. Drive Retention & Completion
- Identify at-risk learners and take proactive actions
- Resolve learner concerns (platform access, payments, etc.)
- Ensure high program completion rates (target: 85%+)
4. Community Management
- Manage and moderate learner interactions on the platform
- Foster an engaging, inclusive, and responsive community environment
5. Plan & Host Engagement Activities
- Organize webinars, workshops, and cohort-based sessions
- Drive consistent participation and engagement
6. Communication Execution
- Manage weekly updates, reminders, and targeted nudges
- Ensure learners stay informed, motivated, and on track
7. Track & Report Insights
- Monitor engagement metrics, retention trends, and learner feedback
- Share actionable insights to improve learner experience
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Education, or a related field
- (Community Management certification is a plus)
- 24 years of experience in edtech, learner success, or community management
- Experience handling global cohorts across time zones (preferably US)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High empathy with a learner-first mindset
- Experience hosting/moderating virtual sessions or events
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
- Basic analytical skills for tracking engagement and performance metrics
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
- Working knowledge of AI tools is an added advantage
