You'll be the central nervous system of all student communication — ensuring everything we say, send, and share is intentional, well-timed, and worth their attention. Done right, this role directly drives engagement, retention, referrals, and brand love.
What You'll Own
Communication Control Tower
- Own all outgoing student communication across WhatsApp, email, and other platforms
- Act as the single point of coordination for any team reaching the community
- Ensure every message is necessary, clear, well-timed, and on-brand
Communication Calendar & Cadence
- Build and maintain a centralised communication calendar
- Balance service updates, engagement content, and promotional messaging
- Make sure students are never overwhelmed — and never left in the dark
Copy & Messaging Quality
- Write and refine all outbound communication — emails, WhatsApp messages, posters, polls
- Bring The Quad's voice alive: clear, human, slightly playful, never spammy
- Make even routine communication feel thoughtful
Cross-Team Coordination
- Work closely with Coaching, Marketing, Sales & Memberships, and Leadership
- Build a system where no communication goes out without visibility
- Push back confidently when something shouldn't go out
Analytics & Optimisation
- Track open rates, CTRs, responses, and engagement patterns
- Turn data into better timing, better formats, and better messaging strategy
What Success Looks Like (First 3–6 Months)
- A clear, visible communication calendar is in place across teams
- All outgoing communication is centralised and streamlined
- Reduction in message clutter and last-minute chaos
- Students feel informed, not overwhelmed — and more connected to The Quad
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years in community management, CRM/lifecycle communication, or content/copywriting
- Strong written communication — this is non-negotiable
- Highly organised — you enjoy systems, calendars, and structure
- Good judgment — you know what should and shouldn't be sent
- Comfortable working across teams and pushing back when needed
- Data-aware — you don't just send messages, you learn from them
Bonus (Not Mandatory)
- Experience with WhatsApp communication tools or CRM platforms
- Familiarity with email marketing tools
- Basic design sense
- Experience with engaged communities — fitness, lifestyle, or similar
