Role Overview

We are seeking a creative and driven Communications & Events Intern to support our communications, digital outreach, and high-impact convenings. This role combines content creation, digital marketing, and live event coverage, making it ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, visual design, and working in dynamic, high-profile environments.

Key Responsibilities

Communications & Content

• Design visual content using Canva and other graphic design tools for social media, newsletters, and event promotions
• Assist in editing short-form and long-form videos for digital platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
• Support the creation of digital assets including posters, banners, invitations, and presentations
• Assist with drafting captions, announcements, and campaign copy aligned with Wadhwani AI Global's brand voice

Events & On-Site Coverage

• Support planning and execution of national and international events, forums, and summits
• Provide on-site social media coverage, including photography, videography, and live updates
• Capture high-quality content during events for post-event communications and reports
• Support coordination with speakers, partners, and participants

Digital Marketing & Engagement

• Assist in the execution of social media and digital marketing campaigns
• Track engagement and performance metrics to inform future campaigns
• Support community engagement and audience growth across platforms

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong working knowledge of Canva and basic graphic design principles
• Experience with video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar)
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing fundamentals
• Strong visual sense and attention to brand consistency
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced, event-driven environments
