We are looking for a Communication Designer who goes beyond execution — someone who thinks, interprets, and shapes brand narratives through design.
This is not a pure graphic design role. You will operate at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and visual execution, translating ideas into cohesive, high-impact design across touchpoints — from digital to physical.
You will play a critical role in defining how the brand looks, feels, and communicates, ensuring every output is rooted in customer insight, business context, and design excellence.
What You Will Do
1. Strategic Design Thinking
- Translate business and brand objectives into design-led communication strategies
- Understand customer behavior, expectations, and cultural context to inform design decisions
- Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to shape narratives, not just visuals
2. End-to-End Communication Design
- Own and drive design across multiple formats:
- Digital: Social media, emailers, website/UI elements
- Physical: Packaging, in-store communication, print collaterals
- Campaigns: Integrated brand and marketing campaigns
- Ensure consistency in visual language across all touchpoints
3. Concept to Execution
- Convert abstract ideas and briefs into clear, compelling visual stories
- Create strong design directions and guide the team in executing them
- Maintain high attention to detail across typography, layouts, color, and composition
4. Team & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, product, content, and business teams
- Take raw or evolving briefs and bring clarity, structure, and direction
- Mentor junior designers and raise the overall design bar
5. Design Systems & Brand Custodianship
- Build and evolve design systems, guidelines, and frameworks
- Ensure the brand identity remains cohesive yet dynamic across platforms
- Act as a custodian of taste, quality, and consistency
Who You Are
- A strategic thinker who uses design as a problem-solving tool, not just execution
- Someone with a strong point of view on aesthetics, culture, and customer experience
- Detail-obsessed — you care about the last 10% that elevates great work
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and translating it into structured outputs
- A storyteller who can bring ideas to life visually and conceptually
What You Bring
- 8+ years of experience in communication design / visual design / brand design
- A portfolio that demonstrates:
- Range across digital, packaging, and brand communication
- Strong conceptual thinking, not just polished outputs
- Understanding of:
- UI/UX fundamentals
- Packaging and physical design systems
- Social and content-led design ecosystems
- Ability to lead projects independently from brief to final execution
Bonus If You Have
- Experience in consumer brands, F&B, retail, or lifestyle spaces
- Exposure to brand building in high-growth/startup environments
- Experience working on integrated campaigns and storytelling-led brands
Why This Role Matters
Design here is not support — it is central to how the brand is built and experienced.
You will help define not just what we say, but how the world sees and feels us.
