About AffEx Healthcare AffEx Healthcare is an initiative of the Anjani Mashelkar Foundation (AMF), founded by Padma Vibhushan Dr. R.A. Mashelkar. We are building India's first fully digital, ultra-portable, multi-disease screening and monitoring platform — pole-vaulting primary healthcare through inclusive innovation. We work at the intersection of science, technology, and impact — deploying in rural clinics, mobile medical units, and corporate campuses across India.
The Role We're looking for a seasoned Communications & Social Media Expert to lead how AffEx tells its story — to corporates, healthcare institutions, investors, partners, and the communities we serve. This is a rare opportunity to build the voice of a mission-driven health-tech company from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Own and execute AffEx's integrated communications and social media strategy across B2B and public audiences
- Build, manage, and grow our presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, and X — with a consistent, compelling brand voice
- Translate complex diagnostics and health technology into clear, inspiring stories for diverse stakeholders
- Create high-quality content: thought leadership articles, impact reports, explainer videos, campaign posts, press releases, and founder narratives
- Develop brand collateral — pitch decks, brochures, event materials, and media kits — in collaboration with leadership
- Manage media and PR relationships; place AffEx stories in relevant healthcare, science, and startup publications
- Track campaign performance and analytics; iterate strategy based on data
- Work cross-functionally with product, field operations, and the AMF team to surface and amplify ground-level impact
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in communications, brand, or social media
- Outstanding writing and editing skills in English; ability to adapt tone for different audiences and platforms
- Proven track record managing B2B social media, especially LinkedIn
- Experience in PR, media pitching, or developing thought leadership programmes
- Proficiency in graphic design tools: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and Canva
- Strong eye for design, visual storytelling, typography, and layout
- Startup orientation — able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and move at pace
- Portfolio of past social media campaigns, content pieces, and design work is required
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in the healthcare, diagnostics, or medtech space
- Knowledge of vernacular content or regional-language communications for India
- Experience with video production or Reels/Shorts-style content
