About the Role
SLA Institute is looking for an enthusiastic and student-focused Communication & Soft Skills Trainer to help our students develop strong English communication skills, overcome their fear of speaking English, build confidence, and become more effective communicators in academic and professional environments.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about teaching, highly engaging, and able to create a positive and encouraging classroom environment where students feel comfortable speaking, participating, making mistakes, and improving.
Responsibilities
- Build English Communication Confidence – Help students overcome hesitation and fear of speaking English through regular speaking practice and personalized guidance.
- Develop Public Speaking & Stage Confidence – Conduct presentations, group discussions, role plays, debates, and other activities to reduce stage fear and improve confidence.
- Conduct Engaging Training Sessions – Plan and deliver interactive, activity-based classes that keep students actively participating and motivated.
- Improve Verbal & Written Communication – Train students in fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, sentence formation, writing, and professional communication.
- Track & Mentor Student Progress – Assess individual communication levels, provide constructive feedback, and continuously mentor students to achieve measurable improvement.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communication, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in training, teaching, or a related role preferred.
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably one or more regional languages.
- Ability to engage and motivate participants with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Familiarity with training tools and technologies, such as online platforms for remote training.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
