Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Communication & Network Lead to oversee and manage the organization's network infrastructure and communication systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in networking technologies, routing and switching, and enterprise communication platforms, along with leadership capabilities to manage teams and drive infrastructure and connectivity initiatives.
Skill / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in network administration and infrastructure management.
- Strong expertise in routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
- Hands-on experience in switching technologies including Cisco Nexus.
- Experience with wireless networking and network hardware lifecycle management.
- Strong understanding of network security, firewalls (Checkpoint), NAC, and NOC operations.
- Experience with communication systems such as email, VoIP, video conferencing, and messaging platforms.
- Knowledge of network performance optimization and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Certification Required
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE)
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
Job Responsibilities
Network Infrastructure Management
- Design, implement, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure.
- Manage branch office setups, office integrations, and network upgrades.
- Monitor network performance and optimize configurations for efficiency and reliability.
- Troubleshoot network issues and implement effective solutions.
Routing, Switching & Wireless Management
- Configure and manage advanced routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP).
- Manage switching infrastructure including Cisco Nexus environments.
- Oversee wireless network deployment and performance.
Communication Systems Management
- Manage enterprise communication systems including email, VoIP, video conferencing, and messaging platforms.
- Ensure seamless connectivity and system integration across the organization.
Security & Compliance
- Implement and enforce network security measures including firewalls and access controls.
- Conduct security assessments and mitigate potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and data protection policies.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor a team of network and communication professionals.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure and communication projects.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain detailed documentation of network architecture and configurations.
- Generate reports on performance, uptime, and security incidents.
- Develop and track KPIs for network performance and improvements.
