This is a full-time on-site role based in Chennai for a Commodity Buyer. The Commodity Buyer will be responsible for evaluating and managing suppliers, making purchasing decisions, and overseeing procurement and supply chain activities. Day-to-day tasks include supplier negotiations, cost analysis, optimizing supply chain operations, and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials. The role requires maintaining vendor relationships and achieving cost efficiency while adhering to organizational policies and guidelines.

• Skills in Supplier Evaluation and Supplier Management to assess and manage vendor performance effectively
• Experience in Purchasing and Procurement activities with a focus on cost control and quality assurance
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management processes to optimize operations and ensure efficient delivery
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in using procurement and supply chain management software or tools
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable
