JD for Testing & Commissioning Mechanical Engineer
Job Summary
The Mechanical engineer – T&C will be responsible for implementation, testing, commissioning, and Project management of Mechanical infrastructure of data centers. The expert will work closely with the project and client's team to ensure that the implementation meet project requirements and will also be responsible for ensuring that the implementation is accurate, complete, and comply with applicable standards.
Roles and responsibilities
- Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of Mechanical systems in data centers, covering all levels from L1 to L7.
- Ensure that all electrical systems meet the required specifications and performance standards.
- Prepare detailed testing and commissioning documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports.
- Identify and resolve issues during the testing and commissioning phases to ensure optimal system performance.
- Work closely with project managers, design engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure all testing and commissioning activities comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Implement quality assurance processes to maintain the highest standards of workmanship and system reliability.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and deliver satisfactory outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Has 5 to 7 years of experience working in testing & commissioning of Data center projects.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including ASHRAE, ISHRAE and local building codes.
