Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Commission Sales Associate role based in Hyderabad. The Commission Sales Associate will engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their travel needs and recommend suitable packages, itineraries, and services. Responsibilities include following up on leads, making outbound calls, responding to inquiries, and converting prospects into confirmed bookings while maintaining high service standards. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and travel partners to confirm reservations, handle changes or special requests, and ensure accurate documentation. The associate will also maintain up-to-date knowledge of destinations, promotions, and travel products, and will track sales performance against targets, providing regular updates to management.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a commission-based environment.
- Excellent customer service, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills to engage a diverse range of travelers.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with clear, professional telephone and in-person presentation.
- Basic understanding of travel products, destinations, and itinerary planning; prior travel industry experience is a plus.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, booking platforms, and standard office software to manage leads, bookings, and reports.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple client requests and bookings simultaneously.
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad and maintain a flexible schedule as needed during peak travel seasons.
- Preferred: Diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
