Role Description
To assist in the preparation and production of pastries while maintaining quality, hygiene, and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Production Support: Measure ingredients, scale recipes, and prep foundational items like cake layers, doughs, glazes, and fillings.
Plating & Assembly: Assist senior chefs with finishing touches, basic decorating, and assembling plated desserts for daily service.
Sanitation & Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation. Follow all local food safety and hygiene regulations.
Inventory Handling: Assist in receiving ingredient deliveries, stocking pantries, and organizing cold storage to ensure freshness.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Executive Pastry Chef and line cooks to ensure dessert production coordinates with the main kitchen's service schedule
Comply with company SOPs, health & safety, and EHS guidelines
