Role Description The Commis Chef role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. The Commis Chef will support senior kitchen staff in daily food preparation, basic cooking tasks, and plating, while maintaining consistency with established recipes and presentation standards. Responsibilities include organizing workstations, preparing ingredients, assisting with baking or pizza production as required, and ensuring timely service during busy shifts. The role involves following strict hygiene and safety protocols, managing stock for assigned sections, and collaborating with the culinary team to deliver high-quality dishes. The Commis Chef is expected to learn and develop new techniques under guidance, contributing to a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Food Preparation and Cooking, with developing Culinary Skills suited to a professional kitchen environment.
• Commitment to Hygiene and kitchen safety standards, including proper handling, storage, and cleaning practices.
• Effective Communication skills for coordinating with chefs, service staff, and other team members during service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail and consistency.
• Prior experience in a restaurant, bakery, or pizzeria kitchen is preferred but not mandatory; culinary education or certification is an advantage.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
