Role Summary:

The Commis Chef will support daily kitchen and caf operations by preparing bakery items, assisting in mise en place, and ensuring consistent product quality and presentation. The role also includes basic beverage preparation and maintaining hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake pastries, breads, and other caf food items as per recipes.
  • Maintain product quality, freshness, and presentation throughout the day.
  • Assist in daily mise en place, dough preparation, and kitchen prep work.
  • Handle coffee brewing and basic beverage preparation for caf service.
  • Support the kitchen and caf team in smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Follow hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards within the kitchen.
