Commis Bakery

Description

The Commis-Bakery is responsible for supporting the bakery team in the preparation and production of a wide range of baked goods. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and a desire to learn and develop their skills in a professional kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and baking of various bakery items including breads, pastries, and cakes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area and equipment.
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure quality and consistency.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Contribute to menu development and suggest new bakery items based on trends and customer feedback.

Skills and Qualifications

• 1-7 years of experience in a bakery or culinary environment.
• Proficient in baking techniques and pastry arts.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity in presentation.
