Role Description
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Commis 3 Bakery to join our kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in bakery. You will assist senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, help with basic preparation and baking tasks, and maintain hygiene and safety standards in the pastry section.
Qualifications
- Assist in the preparation and production of breads, laminated doughs, fillings and other baked goods.
- Measure and mix ingredients as directed by the senior chefs.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, tools, and equipment.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards strictly.
- Store ingredients and finished goods properly with labelling and dating.
- Assist in receiving and stocking deliveries when required.
- Learn and grow under the guidance of senior pastry chefs.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of pastry and baking techniques.
- Diploma or certificate in Bakery & Pastry Arts
- 01 year of experience in a commercial kitchen (internship or training experience counts).
- Strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a team, follow instructions, and maintain consistency.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
