Job Description

Job Title: Commis 3 Bakery

Location: Whitefield

Seniority:Entry Level

Reports To: Pastry Chef

Process : One round of interview followed by on-site trial (mandatory)

Role Description

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Commis 3 Bakery to join our kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in bakery. You will assist senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, help with basic preparation and baking tasks, and maintain hygiene and safety standards in the pastry section.

Qualifications

  • Assist in the preparation and production of breads, laminated doughs, fillings and other baked goods.
  • Measure and mix ingredients as directed by the senior chefs.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene standards strictly.
  • Store ingredients and finished goods properly with labelling and dating.
  • Assist in receiving and stocking deliveries when required.
  • Learn and grow under the guidance of senior pastry chefs.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of pastry and baking techniques.
  • Diploma or certificate in Bakery & Pastry Arts
  • 01 year of experience in a commercial kitchen (internship or training experience counts).
  • Strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a team, follow instructions, and maintain consistency.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
