Job Summary
We are looking for a Commi (Continental) who will assist in the preparation and cooking of continental dishes, ensuring high quality and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and cooking of continental dishes as per recipes and standards
- Ensure proper mise en place before service
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
- Follow instructions from senior chefs (CDP/Sous Chef)
- Handle basic cooking tasks like sauces, salads, grills, and plating
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients
- Support in stock management and minimize wastage
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of continental cuisine
- Hotel Management diploma/certificate preferred
- 02 years of experience in kitchen/continental section
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good teamwork and willingness to learn
