Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in BKC & CHEMBUR Mumbai for a Commi 1, DCDP in Bakery & Pastry. The individual will assist in the preparation of bakery and pastry items, ensuring the highest quality and presentation. Daily tasks include mixing doughs, baking pastries, decorating cakes, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, following food safety standards, and assisting senior chefs with various tasks. The role requires teamwork, creativity, and a passion for baking and pastry arts.

• Basic knowledge and skills in baking and pastry preparation
• Experience in decorating cakes and pastries
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in quality
• Understanding and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Certification from a culinary school in pastry arts or a related field is a plus
