Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mumbai for a Commi -1 Bakery. The role involves assisting in the preparation and baking of bread, pastries, and other bakery products. Daily tasks include measuring ingredients, shaping dough, managing baking schedules, maintaining cleanliness of workstations, and ensuring quality control. The Commi -1 will support senior bakers and follow recipes and guidelines to produce consistent, high-quality baked goods.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Bakery and Baking techniques, with an understanding of traditional and contemporary methods
• Experience with Food Preparation, including measuring ingredients, mixing, and handling dough
• Skills in producing a variety of bakery goods such as Cookies and Bread
• Knowledge of food safety standards and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen
• A positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Prior experience in a bakery or patisserie is preferred, but passionate and skilled newcomers are also welcome
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends
