ROLE DESCRIPTION:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Team Lead in Commercial Real Estate, based in Pune. Seeking a proactive and experienced Team Leader to manage a team of analysts supporting UK Based Bank's Commercial Real Estate Lending operations. The Team Leader will oversee day-to-day delivery, ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards, and act as the key liaison between Wipro and UK Based banks stakeholders. This role requires strong leadership, domain expertise in commercial lending, and the ability to manage cross-border collaboration effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Team Management & Delivery Oversight:
- Lead and mentor a team of analysts handling CRE loan applications, credit documentation, and portfolio support.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of tasks in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs.
- Monitor team performance and maintain a minimum 98% right-first-time documentation standard.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure adherence to AAF Lending Policy, Standards, and Lending Criteria.
- Review and approve credit papers and documentation before submission to UK Based Credit team.
- Support the team in using front-end systems to track applications through to approval.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact for UK Based stakeholders regarding operational updates, escalations, and process improvements.
- Facilitate regular communication between Wipro and UK Based teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
Compliance & Risk Coordination:
- Oversee coordination with KYC and Financial Crime departments for onboarding and fraud-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with UK banking regulations and UK Based internal policies.
Process Improvement & Reporting:
- Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and quality.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports, dashboards, and insights to senior stakeholders.
Training & Development:
- Conduct training sessions to upskill team members on UK CRE lending practices, systems, and compliance.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Ad Hoc Responsibilities:
- Attend meetings with UK Based UK team as required.
- Handle additional tasks and projects as assigned by Wipro or UK Based leadership.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, or financial services.
- Prior experience in team leadership and working with UK or international banking clients.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Expertise in Commercial Real Estate and Real Estate markets
- Strong knowledge of Finance, including financial analysis and budgeting
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
- Proven ability to manage teams and projects effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in the commercial real estate sector and market analysis is preferred
