About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist.


In this role, you will:

  • Provide servicing activities for low to moderately complex commercial products

  • Coordinate all aspects of resolving open customer service issues and interact with internal and external customers

  • Provide customer service, loan and regulatory diligence and ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

  • Evaluate and upload data into the systems of record

  • Serve as primary liaison and work collaboratively with Sales, Legal, Control and Risk, Technology, and various Operations and company teams as necessary to progress customer-focused needs

  • Review and negotiate basic loan servicing transactions, evaluate risks, and devise strategies to mitigate risks and identify procedural modifications

  • Serve as an escalation point in the resolution of client issues

  • Provide guidance and training to peers

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Commercial Loan Servicing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • VBA/SQL/POWER BI/TABLEAU

  • Strong proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries, joins, subqueries, stored procedures, performance tuning).

  • Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

  • Ability to build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and KPI creation.

  • Hands-on expertise with Tableau for visualization, storytelling, data blending, and dashboard publishing.

  • Proven experience in VBA Macros development for Excel automation-writing custom scripts, automating repetitive tasks, and building user forms.

  • Understanding of ETL processes, data flows, and dataset preparation.

  • Ability to integrate data from multiple systems and create structured reporting solutions.

  • Knowledge of Python, R, or Alteryx for advanced analytics.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) for data storage or analytics.

  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum and project delivery frameworks.

  • Commercial Lending Knowledge & Loan IQ experience.


Job Expectations:

  • This is production & MIS role where the expectation is to perform BAU production & also work on data management

  • Strong data analysis capability to interpret trends, identify anomalies, and provide actionable insights.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and reporting solutions.

  • Proficiency in validating data accuracy and ensuring data quality checks.

  • Strong communication skills for interacting with crossfunctional teams and leadership.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problemsolving.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment.
