Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Commercial Interior Designer role based in Delhi, India. The Commercial Interior Designer will be responsible for developing interior concepts for commercial spaces, preparing detailed layouts, and coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle. Daily tasks include space planning, producing interior drawings and presentations, selecting finishes and materials, and preparing FF&E schedules aligned with project requirements and budget. The role involves regular site visits to review progress, ensure design intent is maintained, and resolve project-related issues. The designer will also collaborate with clients to understand their brand, functional needs, and aesthetic preferences, and translate them into cohesive, buildable solutions.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design for commercial environments.
• Knowledge of Architecture principles and coordination with architectural and engineering teams.
• Proficiency in preparing Construction Drawings and detailed interior documentation.
• Experience with FF&E selection, specification, and budgeting for commercial projects.
• Ability to use industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar).
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong visual, conceptual, and technical design skills, with attention to detail and buildability.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and construction practices in India is an advantage.
• Portfolio demonstrating completed commercial interior projects or relevant studio work.
