Job Description: Commercial Solar Design Manager

Location: Remote

Shift: Night Shift (US Business Hours)

Working Days: 5 Days a Week

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the commercial solar design team and ensure timely project delivery.
• Coordinate directly with US-based clients regarding project requirements, technical queries, design changes, and project updates.
• Review commercial solar PV designs, electrical drawings, layouts, and permit packages.
• Ensure compliance with US electrical codes (NEC), AHJ guidelines, and utility requirements.
• Perform quality checks and resolve technical issues before project submission.
• Manage project timelines, team performance, and client expectations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in solar design, preferably in commercial solar projects.
• Prior experience in team management and direct client coordination.
• Strong knowledge of US solar permitting, NEC codes, and electrical design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant solar design software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working night shifts aligned with US business hours.
