Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Civil) or equivalent
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all billing and commercial functions for multiple projects from the head office.
- Review, verify, and certify contractor and consultant bills in line with contractual terms and approved quantities along with site team.
- Prepare and monitor project cost reports, cash flow statements, and financial projections.
- Coordinate with site teams for verification of quantities, measurement sheets, and progress certifications.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of materials, subcontractor accounts, and work done.
- Support in contract administration drafting, reviewing, and managing work orders, amendments, and correspondence.
- Analyse cost variances, identify potential claims, and assist in claim preparation.
- Maintain updated records of BOQs, rate analyses, and change orders.
- Liaise with procurement, planning, and finance departments for budgetary control and approvals.
- Provide commercial inputs during tendering, negotiations, and finalization of vendors/subcontractors.
- Prepare MIS reports and present periodic commercial updates to management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying preferred).
- 1012 years of experience in billing, cost control, and contract management in construction/infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of project contracts, BOQs, and billing procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and measurement software (e.g., AutoCAD for quantity take-offs).
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Experience in institutional, residential, or large commercial projects preferred.
