Job Description
Strong hands-on experience with Collibra Data Governance and Catalog Expertise in Apache Ranger policy creation, administration, and troubleshooting Ranger Certified Professional (mandatory or preferred as per requirement) Experience implementing metadata management, data lineage, and stewardship models Strong understanding of data security, access control, and compliance frameworks Experience working with big data platforms (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka) or cloud data platforms Knowledge of IAM concepts and integration with enterprise security systems Familiarity with SQL and data analytics environments Experience in Agile / DevOps delivery models
Implement and manage enterprise data governance frameworks using Collibra Configure and maintain business glossary, data catalog, metadata, lineage, and stewardship workflows Design and implement data access policies and security controls using Apache Ranger Enforce role-based and attribute-based access control (RBAC/ABAC) across data platforms Ensure alignment with data privacy, regulatory, and compliance requirements Integrate Collibra with data platforms such as data lakes, data warehouses, and BI tools Collaborate with data engineering, security, and business teams on governance and security standards Conduct impact analysis, policy reviews, and audits for data access and usage Support production issues related to data governance and security implementations Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices, standards, and documentation
