Data Governance Architect - Experience: 10 - 14 yrs

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Data Governance Architect to design Solution and Lead the implementation on Collibra and any other similar tools. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Data management activities including Data Quality, Data catalog, Data Security, data Masking etc. Candidate must know how to enable Data Governance (DG) in an organization, define and implement policies and guidelines, design processes, uplift data literacy, improve data trust, enhance data accessibility and outline future ready operating model

Responsibilities:

Provide thought leadership, frameworks, best practices and subject matter expertise in Collibra/Purview required to deliver effective Data Governance and Management solutions to our clients.

Implement and tailor the Collibra Data Governance, Azure Purview/Unity Catalog in accordance with business requirements.

Set up and manage workflows, data governance, and data quality rules.

Establish integration capabilities between Collibra/Azure Purview and various data sources/systems, encompassing both on-premises and cloud environments. Be able to implement Catalog of Catalogs

Develop and configure the Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC) meta-model, including assets, relationships, domains, and communities.

Develop and deploy comprehensive solutions for metadata management, data lineage tracing, and governance.

Work with business SMEs and project partners to define DG, metadata, and DQ requirements.

Develop a strategic plan for implementing and managing enterprise-wide DG

Conduct enterprise-wide data governance maturity assessments, defining current, future, and aspirational states.

Skilled in conducting pilot projects within strict deadlines to showcase perspectives

Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data governance tools.

Requirements:

Experience in Data Analytics, including at least 4 years in Data Governance tool implementation

Prior hands-on implementation experience with Collibra is a must

Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.

Executive presence and the ability to engage with both business and technical stakeholders.

Collibra Ranger certification is a big plus.
