The ideal candidate will have a background in hostel management and possess strong leadership skills to foster a positive community.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the college hostel and ensure the well-being of residents.
• Manage hostel staff and coordinate with them to maintain a safe and hygienic living environment.
• Address and resolve student grievances and conflicts in a timely manner.
• Implement and enforce hostel rules and regulations to maintain discipline among residents.
• Organize and facilitate events and activities to promote community building among students.
• Conduct regular inspections of the hostel premises to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of hostel occupancy, maintenance requests, and other administrative tasks.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field; a degree in hospitality management or social work is a plus.
• 4-14 years of experience in hostel management, student services, or related fields.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage a diverse group of students.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and local languages.
• Ability to handle conflicts and resolve issues amicably.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and hostel management software.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and emergency procedures.
