Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Collections Team Lead to manage a team of collection agents. The role involves driving recovery performance, ensuring compliance, handling escalations, and improving overall team productivity.

Lead and manage a team of collection agents to achieve monthly recovery targets.

Lead and support collection agencies to consistently achieve their targets.

Monitor team performance, call quality, and productivity.

Allocate delinquent accounts effectively across team members.

Handle escalations and support resolution of complex cases.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

Conduct team meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.

Prepare reports on collection performance.

Collaborate with internal teams such as risk and operations.

Qualifications

3–6 years of experience in collections, with at least 1–2 years in a team lead role

Good understanding of collection strategies and delinquency buckets

Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools

Collection efficiency and recovery rate

Team productivity and target achievement

Quality and compliance adherence
