Job Profile: Manager Write-off Portfolio (Recovery)

Designation: Manager Write-off Portfolio

Department: Collections & Recovery

Reporting To: Head Collections

Work Location: Nahur (with periodic field visits and agency coordination)

CTC Range: 7 9 LPA (as per experience and recovery background)

Role Objective

To drive recoveries from the Write-off portfolio (180+ DPD) through structured strategies,

field and agency coordination, settlements, and legal recoveries maximizing cash

realization from long-aged default accounts while ensuring compliance, ethical conduct,

and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end recovery of 180+ DPD and written-off cases across PAN-India.

Segment and prioritize accounts by recovery potential, location, and legal status.

Coordinate with Credit Bureau teams for score re-scrubbing and skip tracing.

Empanel, train, and monitor recovery agencies and field executives.

Review daily MIS from agencies on visits, promises, and recoveries.

Liaise with Legal team on Arbitration / Sec 138 / Civil Recovery cases.

Design and execute Settlement / OTS (One-Time Settlement) campaigns.

Utilize SMS / WhatsApp / IVR / BOT follow-ups for untraceable cases.

Maintain Recovery MIS, Settlement Tracker, Agency Scorecard, and ROI dashboard.

Ensure adherence to RBI, DRA, and Fair Practice Code.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Graduate / Postgraduate with 46 years of experience in Collections / Recovery from

NBFC / Fintech / Digital Lending environment.

- Proven track record of handling write-off / hard bucket recovery (180+ DPD).

- Exposure to Legal Recovery, Arbitration, Settlement, and Agency Management.

- Strong analytical and Excel / MIS skills; understanding of RBI and DRA norms.

- Multilingual communication ability and experience working with field agencies.
