Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Collections Manager. The Collections Manager will oversee and manage the collections process, develop strategies for maintaining acceptable delinquency levels, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include processing and monitoring payments, resolving customer issues regarding payments, analyzing key metrics related to collections, and improving operational efficiencies. The role also involves working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of collections processes, delinquency management, and recovery strategies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with financial analysis and proficiency in handling relevant tools and software
- Knowledge of compliance requirements and regulatory guidelines for financial services
- Ability to lead teams, develop collection strategies, and enhance operational performance
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- Experience in the financial services or NBFC sector preferred
